Kubota Wheel Loaders
Grande Prairie Kubota carries Kubota compact wheel loaders — articulated machines built for high-cycle loading work where a skid steer runs out of reach and a full-size loader is more machine than the yard can take.

Kubota R640C Wheel Loader
Available through Grande Prairie Kubota in Sexsmith. The R640C is an articulated wheel loader, and it's a genuinely different machine from a skid steer — not a bigger one. It bends in the middle instead of skidding its tires around, which means it turns tight without scrubbing rubber or tearing up the yard, and it keeps all four wheels driving through the corner. On a feedlot alley or a gravel yard where you're making the same loop a hundred times a day, that shows up as less fuel, longer tire life, and a surface you're not repairing every spring.

The articulated frame is the difference. It turns tight without scrubbing the tires, keeps all four wheels driving through the turn, and puts far less stress on the ground than a skid steer pivoting in place. On a feedlot alley, a gravel yard or anywhere you're making the same loop a hundred times a day, that adds up to less fuel, less tire wear and a torn-up yard you don't have to fix in the spring.
They're at their best on repetitive bulk handling: loading feed, moving grain, snow work, stacking bales and yard cleanup. Ride quality and visibility are a genuine step up from a skid steer, which matters when someone's in the seat all day.
Buckets, grapples, pallet forks and snow blowers are available, along with cab, heat and air. We stock filters, hydraulic parts and wear items, and we do warranty and seasonal service in our shop or on the road.
Serving farms, feedlots, contractors and municipalities across the Peace Country, including Grande Prairie, Sexsmith, Clairmont, Beaverlodge, Spirit River and Valleyview.
