About the RCR1872
The RCR1872 is Land Pride's 72-inch rotary cutter for tractors of 20 to 65 hp, on a Category 1 hitch with a floating clevis top link, quick-hitch ready. It cuts grass, weeds and brush up to 2 inches thick at heights from 1-1/2 to 11-1/2 inches with two free-swinging high-lift heat-treated blades, driven from the 540 rpm PTO through a cast-iron gearbox, under an all-welded 10-gauge deck with welded-on skids and a 24-inch round stump jumper. It weighs about 737 lb with its slip-clutch driveline, laminated tailwheel, front rubber guards and rear metal band; a shear-bolt driveline is the alternative.
