R640C Wheel Loader

Available through Grande Prairie Kubota in Sexsmith. The R640C is an articulated wheel loader, and it's a genuinely different machine from a skid steer — not a bigger one. It bends in the middle instead of skidding its tires around, which means it turns tight without scrubbing rubber or tearing up the yard, and it keeps all four wheels driving through the corner. On a feedlot alley or a gravel yard where you're making the same loop a hundred times a day, that shows up as less fuel, longer tire life, and a surface you're not repairing every spring.

It's built for repetitive bulk handling. Loading feed, moving grain, stacking bales, snow work, yard cleanup. The kind of job where someone is in the seat for eight hours and the machine is doing the same thing over and over. Ride quality, visibility and reach at height are all a real step up from a skid steer, and that matters more than people expect when they're the one running it.

If your work is varied and you need one machine that takes every attachment, an SSV75P is more flexible. If you're moving volume in a yard, the R640C will do it faster and cost you less doing it. The C designation is the cab model, which for year-round work here isn't really optional.
